The abattoir is open and honest about its operations. Everywhere there are cameras, everything is being filmed. On the killing floor, there is always a representative of the Belgian Federal Agency for Food Safety. Our first priority is cleanliness. A cleaning crew cleans the entire abattoir every day. To check for trichinella in meat, the abattoir has a lab that has been approved by BELAC, the Belgian Accreditation Body. Additionally, bacteriological inspections of general hygiene and cleanliness are carried out.
